Y11 Creative in Media

At Catmose we believe in ensuring our students have the skills to thrive in the working world, they will need to be able to work independently, manage their own time and work as part of a team.

The students working outside my office today exemplified this approach, they were working on an extended animation project for their Creative and Media diploma using a laptop and web camera to record stills which they have then edited into an extended video. Well done to: Jess Girvan, Ella Thompson and Alice Elliott for a great piece of work.

This work has been supported by the Arts Council who funded the workshop to train students in these techniques, the artist who worked with them was Graham Elstone and they were of course supported by Miss Hincks

It was great to receive the completed project, which I have uploaded onto YouTube.
