High Achievement: Developing students

We received this week, our certificate from the Specialist Schools and Academies trust which celebrates the examination performance of our students; one of the highest national performances. We were already celebrating the success of our choir and a number of individual performers who did spectacularly well in the recent music festival in Oundle.  The sports team, not happy to be left out, came back as the East Midland Regional winners from the championship held in Loughborough. In Art our Year 9 students are coming close to completing their Silver Arts Award qualification, we are the most successful school nationally in delivery of this qualification which not only helps our students to be more creative but also teaches team work and leadership skills.

This has been a great start to the term, a clear demonstration of the way in which the College challenges our students to aim high, to do their best and achieve excellent outcomes in whatever field they have talent. We believe that exposure to friendly competition helps our students to achieve their potential, to cope with success and failure; all important skills in the modern world.
